Batumi

Batumi is humid and rainy, especially outside summer. Sea air is pleasant, but ventilation, heating, sun exposure and signs of mold matter. A new apartment without proper airflow can be less comfortable than photos suggest.

When renting or buying, check corners, windows, bathroom, facade, entrance hall and air conditioning.

Tbilisi and Kutaisi

Tbilisi summers are hot and drier, while winter comfort depends on heating and windows. Upper floors can heat up more. Kutaisi is milder, but humidity can still matter, especially in older buildings.

Weather affects costs: heating, air conditioning, ventilation, sun exposure and floor level can change comfort and bills.
