Before viewing

First check the listing: source, date, price, currency, district, area, photos and description consistency. If the apartment appears on several sites with different prices, ask which version is current.

Ask about lease term, deposit, utilities, internet, heating, address registration if needed and who owns the apartment.

Contract and condition

Verbal agreements are risky. The contract or written messages should cover term, price, currency, deposit, deposit return, utilities and move-out conditions. Photograph the apartment, furniture, appliances and meters at move-in.

This is general information and not legal advice. If terms are unclear, consult a qualified professional.
